Collagraphs
A collograph is a printing technique that is created by printing an image that has been created using collage techniques and various papers and textures as well as completely cutting out sections to allow sections of the print to remain completely blank.

Mono-printing: from metal
mono-printing is when you lay down the in on a surface and then work onto the ink to produce an image. In the case of metal mono-printing you put the ink onto a metal plate and then remove portions of the ink using a variety of implements to create an image, the plate is then placed in the press and printed.

My first attempt at metal mono-printing
My second attempt at metal mono-printing.
"This one turned out better because I added more detail onto the metal printing plate than my first attempt, I also use a brio to make finer marks on the plate, instead of just using a cotton bud to make the marks in the ink on the metal plate."
